Job Description

Job Overview

• As an In-Vehicle Infotainment software developer, the candidate will be involved in full lifecycle of embedded software development on In-Vehicle Infotainment system. Developers will be responsible for working on the next generation applications. The software development is primarily in C++, Java and Kotlin.

 

Job Qualification

Support Android Platform development in the following activities:

• Android Platform Features

 Development/Issue fixes in one or the more of the following:

• Android Application Framework

• Services like BT, WiFi etc.

• Media Playback (USB/iPod/MTP)

• Various HAL services

• Security – SELinux policies

• Android reference applications

• Unit Test, Integration Test, Functional Test

• CTS, VTS

• Projection technologies

• Development of Tradefed based Integration Test framework for testing AndroidAuto and CarPlay

 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

• At least 1.5 years’ experience in C/C++ and Android (Java, Kotlin) software development

• Experience in working on Linux/Android Platform

• Understanding of Linux/Unix, Android security models

• Experience with testing framework (UT, IT, FT)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with one of software components below on Android:

• Bluetooth Software Stack

• WIFI

• Media Component

• AndroidAuto/CarPlay or any projection technologies

• Expertise in developmental tools like Enterprise Architect, Polarion, Jira or similar.

• Experience with Android System Services development

• Automotive product development process and quality experience (i.e., A-SPICE…)

• Experience with Testing Setup for Unit Test, Integration Test, Functional Test, CTS, VTS

• Experience with source control management such as Git, Repo, Gerrit or equivalent

• Intermediate English written and oral communication skills.

• Understanding CI/CD (such as Jenkin)

• Familiarity with Agile development processes
