Project Information & Opportunity

You will be developing the new generation of In-Vehicle Infotainment Software System for machinery of construction, industrial and agricultural. We will be responsible for producing the entire software system, which will use new Google’s Android Automotive Platform to power the infotainment systems in Industrial Vehicle, specifically on Android 10.

As an Android Automotive Developer, you will be involved in full-lifecycle product development for Android Software Platform. You will collaborate and come up with solutions for full-stack development. Moreover, it will be a precious chance to work with top experts of automotive industry to enhance both your technical knowledge and English. You also will have a big opportunity to work in Korea.

Job Description

• Working directly with large Construction Equipment Manufacturers in Korea. Get involved in professional environment with latest technologies and experts in the field.
• Ensure domain architecture adheres to requirements/restrictions around performance, source code size, memory use, etc.
• Participate in planning, definition and high level design of the solution for system, modules and other interfaces.
• Create architecture design, detail design of Product Components and Features.
• Collaborating with PM, QA and other developers to ensure highest quality of products delivered.
• You work well within a team environment and enjoy working in the office with your colleagues
• Act as the technical point person within the domain. This includes making final technical decision in the case of a disagreement.

Job Qualification

Experience: 

• 10+ year working in Software Development
• 3+ year working as Software Architect
• 3+ years working in Android Development

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Able to perform the duties associated with software design methods (Object Oriented/Structured Design, Architectural/Design Pattern, Object Oriented Development, High/Low Level Design)
• Experience with analyzing and evaluating functional, non-functional and constraint requirements
• Experience with develop and refine Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) related specifications.
• Understand and utilize all layers of Android embedded system and communication between layers.
• Understand and using one or more ways to communication with middleware such as using library, IPC.
• Capable using software design tools (Enterprise Architect,  Astah, draw.io…)
• Proficient with Android programming language (Java/Kotlin, C/C++)
• Familiar with different operating systems (Window, Linux)
• Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills (ADB, dumpsys, Hierarchy Viewer, Profiler, Systrace tool)
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum, A-Spice projects process
• Can easily discuss a variety of topics and almost totally understand what others are saying in the conversation.
• TOEIC score is above 600 or equivalent

Nice to have:

• Experience with Software Programming Methods (Coding…)
• Experience with methods & techniques to do effort estimation, schedule estimation and cost estimation such as Algorithm model, Expert Judgement, Analogy, Top down, Bottom up, Delphi wideband technique
• Understand different development models such as Waterfall Models, RAD (Rapid Application Development) Models, Spiral Models
• Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, SOME/IP…) is an advantage.
• Experience with Android Automotive (HMI, Car Service, VHAL…) is a strong point.
