Android Test Expert – Signing Bonus Up to 50M (Remote)

Job Description

• This is an offshore position at Hanoi/HCM office of one of the “Big Three” automakers in North America. Participating in this project, you will have chance to work with all aspects of a best-in-class infotainment system. You also can work with top talented engineers and be involved in the delivery of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies

Responsibilities/ Daily tasks you will take care:

• Define, design, implement unit testing solutions and provide guidance to all development teams.
• Create proof of concepts for next generation infotainment systems.
• Participate in system design, documentation, and testing to deliver a best-in-class infotainment system.

Requirements/ Desired skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• At least 3 years in experience Android (Java, Kotlin) software development
• Proficiency in OOP, knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing HMI software on infotainment or mobile platforms.
• Experience with unit-testing and mock frameworks
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills

Nice to have: 

• Experience with Unit Testing of Android UI/UX application
• Multi-process, multi-tasking or multi-threaded based applications
• Embedded operating systems (Linux, QNX, or Android)
• Automotive product development process and quality experience (i.e., A-SPICE, CMMI, FMEA, etc.)
• Proficiency with source control management such as Git, Repo, Gerrit or equivalent
• Understanding CI/CD (such as Jenkin)
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
