Job Description
• Own a feature and create end-end, functional, integration (API , Web & Mobile) tests for its complex business requirements. (API testing essential)
• Write and develop integration, regression, and functional tests using industry standard tools. ( PostMan, RestAssured , Testng, Selenium, Appium) for RESTful APIs. (Only Selenium will not work)
• Work with engineers to promote TDD and BDD techniques and assist as needed.
• Work cross-functionally to understand requirements and stay up to date with feature development
• Write and execute test plans to ensure the product/services are validated
• Create and maintain feature traceability matrix, requirements traceability matrix and bug reports to ensure critical features are validated
• Help identify where we can better leverage automation to improve our overall software quality
Job Qualifications
• Between 5-7 years experience as Software Quality Assurance Engineer
• Proficient in java or similar programming languages
• Hands on experience in creating and writing automated test cases using TDD or BDD techniques
• Proficient in TestNg, Cucumber , Selenium/Appium & Rest-Assured.
• A broad grasp of software QA approaches: automated front-end (UI) testing , back-end testing, unit/integration/system testing, black/white-box testing, coverage analysis, penetration testing, performance testing, cross-platform testing, QA reporting
• Experience working on GIT, Jenkins and CI/CD tools.
