Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Ensures governance of Business Continuity Planning (BCP),
- Crisis Management Planning (CMP) and coordinates with Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP).
- Ensures procedures are in alignment with Corporate, Industry, and Regulatory Standards and best practices.
- Ensures the delivery of consistent and effective business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) services with an emphasis on best practices and increasing levels of maturity.
- Provides Crisis management support and is responsible for continuous improvement of all BC/DR services.
- Provides consultative assistance and thought leadership in a cross-functional environment while working with multiple members of business units.
- Ensures the development, maintenance, and testing of business continuity plans and disaster recovery requirements.
- Uses and maintains common Business Continuity tools such as an automated notification system and a Solution for creating and Maintaining BC plans.
- Key Measures of Success: Documented; plans updated (BC, Crisis), testing, BIAs completed, Successful incident management (including recovery/implementation of Initial Response Plans and or Business Continuity Plans as appropriate).
- Support task related to risk & compliance as assigned by Line Manager.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience directly involved in a BC/DR program, or in a related role such as technology operations, audit or risk management with extensive exposure to a BC/DR Program.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards applicable to business resilience specifically for managing cloud-hosted applications and shared-service environments is a plus, such as ISO 22301, BS 25999, ISO 27000, …
- Having the ability to communicate effectively with external customers, auditors, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and executive management in both formal and informal situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient English communication and writing skills.
- Hands-on experience with risk assessments, BIAs and RTO development is a plus
