Job Description

The DXG BPR Role will be responsible for working to define and implement a growing project portfolio that will be carried out to support the team and the customers that they interface with. In this position, the candidate will oversee multiple projects/ programs simultaneously, working with their cross functional teams through all aspects of the project from ideation through solution validation., and will be responsible for the overall demand intake and due diligence process. A successful candidate in this role will think broadly, understand deeply, stitch across functions and be able to shape the new offerings and roadmap within the function they support.

  • Leverage industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology and process improvement ideas and methodology in business process management;
  • Lead and implement change management initiatives, influencing decisions through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach;
  • Provide functional subject matter expertise and technical leadership around business systems and processes;
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile SCRUM.
  • Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure an appropriate amount of structure is applied to enable project success;
  • Gather, synthesize and document business requirements, process flows, and design specifications to enable internal and external technical development;
  • Facilitate project-related test plan development, cutover, knowledge transfer, and post-mortem activities;
  • Assess gaps between current systems/processes and business needs, develop multi-year roadmaps to address gaps;
  • Apply analytical skills to rationalize change;
  • Provide timely, relevant communication and elevate critical risks to project, management and senior-executive teams;
  • Act as a liaison between global business teams, to ensure that business requirements are complete and fully addressed by proposed solutions (technology, process, or people);

Job Qualification

  • Proven track record working on strategic programs combined with ability to execute tactical, project-level activities and tasks;
  • Experience in change management, including process improvement, technical documentation, and test planning/end-user validation.
  • Skilled in interacting with a wide range of teams, both technical and functional, and adjusting communication and messaging for intended audience/stakeholders
  • Demonstrates an unwavering ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Works in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, senses direction where it may be unclear, and does so without a loss of performance
  • Possesses a passion for process improvement with an approach that encourages innovation, elimination of waste, and efficiency improvements
  • Demonstrates excellent forward thinking capabilities; must be able to see beyond the current state, identify risks/opportunities and drive their project team toward the desired outcome; ability to understand how projects connect to a roadmap/strategy
  • Demonstrates ability to understand and explain complex business processes, systems, and tools with a specific focus on upstream/downstream impact; understands the relationship between multiple functions and/or tools
  • Engages globally to gain perspective in projects, understands differences in regional processes that are impacted by their project(s), and develops relationships to align on expectations for solutions being developed

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline required. MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
