Cloud Transformation Program Director

Job Description

• Cloud transformation program is one of the key leading programs in FPT Software and hosted under the Digital Transformation Global unit responsible to develop all transformation end-to-end services for FPT Software customers.

• FPT Software is looking for a program director to be responsible for defining the strategy and organizing Cloud Transformation program activities for our company. You will be tasked with developing the program strategy to support the organization’s direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. You will be in charge of developing strategy, operating plans and budget for the program along with engaging to corresponding team activities inside our Digital Transformation Global matrix organization.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in both program management and team management, along with technology such as cloud, analytics and intelligent automation. The main responsibilities will be:
• Lead end-to-end program strategy, planning, execution, and management for multiple Cloud/data strategic initiatives in the organization
• Define innovative strategy for the cloud transformation services mixing classic cloud services and disrupting new models involving intelligent automation and artificial intelligence
• Build strong partnerships with both business and delivery functions to deliver seamless program execution.
• Define and plan internal resource skill-up program along with DXG CoE and delivery team to develop internal FPT Software capabilities on those innovative services,
• Contribute with business acumen to orientation and focus the program shall have in terms of services and products,
• Self-driven and Self-motivated leader with ability to utilize innovative approaches to grow program revenue and profitability
• Deliver concise, consistent, and timely communications within the program team and the organization with status reports on cadence to sponsors (executives).

Job Qualification
Inter-personal Skills
• Ability to excel at customer outreach and engagement with strong business acumen
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communications skills. Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Experience to develop and manage senior team with size from 10 to 40 members in a matrix organization
• Experience working cross-functionally in a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
• Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in problem solving within fast-paced and constantly changing environments.

Technical Skills
• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Infrastructure Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing emerging technologies and cloud consulting
• 5+ years of experience in Big Data Analytics and Intelligent Automation emerging technologies
• Systems integration to support multi-cloud management, data center management, and application performance management
• Continual innovation through process improvement and emerging technology
• Application and workload assessment and cloud migration
• Cloud application optimization and administration
• Agile software development at scale

Business Development Skills
• Achieving success in working with Forbes 500 companies, work directly with C-level to build up relationship and trust.
• Achieving success in managing a sales opportunity pipeline, where requirements arise from multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience to engage, build up and win multi-million USD projects. Possible to design and develop specific program to customers.
• Understand business ecosystem, possible to involve developing and maintaining partnership (from strategy definition to execution)
• Experience on product development (Cloud-based and platform-based products)
• Experience on market intelligence

Optional Skills
• Managed service delivery
• Performance (e.g., SLA)-based programs
• Cloud brokering for one or more Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), including automated ordering, provisioning, and billing.
• Obtaining and maintaining system accreditation and authority to operate (ATO)
