JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking/looking for Cockpit Domain Controller with Overall professional experience of 12 – 20 years in software design and development for embedded Automotive, and at least 5+ years in AOSP, Linux, QNX application, M/W, service layers embedded hypervisor development. The candidate should also have experience in promoting best practice in architecture and design.

Work location: Korea, Japan, Germany, Vietnam

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for Development of a software architecture which satisfies Software requirements, system architecture and hardware capabilities.
• Responsible for development of a Cockpit Domain Controller / AVN / IVI / Cluster / Meter / HUD / ARHUD / Telematics Control Unit platform/application software for vehicle communication, remote access, OTA support, diagnostics and etc,..
• Proposal and consult customer technical poin of views.
• Responsible for driving the technical topics with the software team.
• Acts as technical leader and teaches, mentors, and helps Agile team to improve effectiveness.
• Responsible for decomposition of the software in a way to facilitate the software development (Variant handling, Interface definition, SW integration strategy definition etc).
• Represent the software team to all the stakeholders on all technical topics.
• Act as a first-level contact regarding architectural and technology aspects of the solution development.
• Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills during technical discussion

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Skill Sets

• Hands on experience in Application, Service, HAL and BSP Layer – Driving Architectural topics, Integration, Configuration of AOSP, Linux, QNX, AutoSAR/Adaptive AutoSAR, etc.
• Hands-on experience Embedded C/C++ Application & Base Software Design with RTOS / iTron / tKernel / FreeRTOS.
• Experience with multi-processes, multi-domain joint development and familiar with IPCs, Offboard protocol.
• Experience with telephony framework like: ofono.
• Hands-on experience automotive engineering process.
• Experience in understanding and awareness about automotive software specification for: ADAS, DMS, SVM, Navigation, AA/CP, Multimedia and Functional Safety.
• Experience in diagnostic OTX, ODX specification.
• Experience in QEMU, U-boot, ARM architecture, VIRTIO, hardware-assisted virtualization, paravirtualization, memory/GPU/PCI-e/VFIO management and bringup.
• Proficiency in profiling and optimizing techniques.
• Experience in OMA, DM f-ota specification.
• Experience in design, estimating development effort and proposal in each expertise domain. Familiar with working CDC system’s technical topic with OEM, tier-1.
• Experience in SDLC tools such as DOOR’s, Enterprise Architecture/ Rhapsody, JIRA, GIT, GITHub and etc,.
• Experience in Architectural topics and/or Technical Leading the team.
• Experience with E/E architecture, CAN, Ethernet, LVDS Communication.
• Experience with embedded hardware and serial communication tools (CANoe, CANape, etc..)
• Familiarity with system/software development processes (Automotive SPICE)

Desirable Skill Sets:

• Familiar with AOSP, Linux, QNX, AutoSAR/Adaptive AutoSAR platform and experience in Qt/Kanzi/CGI, Unity3d, TouchGFX, UnrealEngine framework.
• Experience of Kotlin, Java, C/C++, C#.
• Experience of Computer Graphic (OpenGL, HLSL, ShaderLab).
• Experience of design pattern.
• Experience or Knowledge Adaptive AutoSAR Stack.
• Exposure / Knowledge of ASPICE process.
• Knowledge of security concepts (Secure on-board communication, secure boot).
• Exposure in Scale Agile Framework and Software Development.
• Proficiency in using software debugging tools (logcat, dtl, gdb).
• Sense of leadership and responsibility.
• Very good at English both spoken and written.
• Relevant domain certificate is nice to have.
• Want to make something different in an old domain.
