Job Description

Overview: A Data Engineer to join our team will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data pipeline architecture, data flow for multiple applications. The candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data system and building them from ground up. She/He will support scientists on data initiatives and ensure data delivery architecture is consistent.

Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline.
• Automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery.
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide valuable insights.
• Create data tools for scientists and assist them in building and optimizing our application.

Job Qualifcation
• SQL and NoSQL knowledge.
• Message queuing, streaming processing and highly scalable data stores.
• At least 2 years of experience working with some of databases and data tools/frameworks such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, etc.
• At least 2 years of experience working with some of cloud data tools such as AWS RDS, AWS EMR, AWS Redshift, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, Azure Function, Azure Synapse, Azure Blobs, Azure Databricks, etc.
• At least 3 years’ experience with programming languages such as Python, Golang, C++ and JS are a plus, etc
