Responsibilities/ Daily tasks you will take care:
• Utilize data build tool (DBT) to write and deploy data pipelines for the insurance domain
• Migrate and test data from existing systems to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Collaborate with product specialists to understand and align data engineering solutions with business requirements
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile practices

Requirements/ Desired skills and experience
Must-Have:
• Strong SQL proficiency, including expertise in writing complex queries and designing data models for data warehousing
• In-depth knowledge of the insurance or financial services domain, including data structures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation
• Experience using DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data-related services
• Good English communication

Nice-to-Have:
• Knowledge of modern testing practices and tools, especially for DBT testing
• Familiarity with other data engineering technologies and tools
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Understanding of data governance and data quality principles
• Prior experience in data engineering or a related role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
