DevOps Engineer – Signing Bonus Up to 50M

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design, code, test and debug deployment frameworks to drive CI/CD and quality improvements
• Drive reliability through a fully automated operations and infrastructure (IaC) in a cloud computing environment (AWS)
• Assuring the highest levels of availability for all monitored applications and products including general site availability and response time.
• Develop proactive monitoring and respond to alerts
• Provide system documentation as needed: including architectural diagrams, process and data flowcharts
• Ensure systems are secure by implementing best practices for patch management and vulnerability management

Job Qualification

• Bachelors degree in related field and 6+ years of experience as a DevOps and/or Release Engineer OR 9+ years of experience
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform and cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
• 6+ years of experience with any modern Linux distro (CentOS preferably)
• 6+ years of experience – CI/CD Process
• 6+ years of experience – Build and release automation tools (Jenkins/Octopus/GIthub)
• 6+ years of experience – Web server technologies (Ngnix, Apache)
• 6+ years of experience – Middleware (Redis, Mule, etc)
• 6+ years of experience – Load Balancing (F5)
• Experience with Monitoring principles and tools: Splunk, Datadog, ExtraHop, New Relic
• Knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP fundamentals)
• Advanced Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, node.js, and etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across a complex organization
• Familiar with any configuration management tools : Salt Stack and Ansible.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Docker
• Knowledge of microservices topologies
• Professional experience with Terraform
