Job Description
  • Develop new DevOps features and writing scripts for automation using scripts and tools such as Python, Bash, TeamCity, CodeCommit, SonarQube, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Utilize various open source technologies and use various tools to orchestrate solutions.
  • Build independent web-based tools, dashboards, microservices and solutions.
  • Write scripts and automation using scripting languages such as Python/Groovy/Java/Bash.
  • Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Postgres, AWS S3 etc.
  • Manage source control including GIT/Code Commit.
  • Use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow.
  • Perform incremental testing actions on code, processes, and singlife.com Singapore Life Pte. Ltd. | Registration no. 201405619W 2 deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered.

Requirements/ Desired skills and experience

  • Collaborate with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.
  • Knowledge of Java/JVM based languages
  • Strong hands-on experience in building and deploying CI/CD pipelines on tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, and at least in one scripting language.
  • 3+ years of experience in working with Linux based cloud infrastructure e.g. Azure/AWS/GCP
  • 2+ years of active hands-on experience with Docker/Docker-Compose, and with databases including MySQL, Mongo & Elasticsearch
