Digital Platform Product Owner

Job Description

The Product Owner (PO), is primarily an internally focused role that oversees the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet the clients’ needs and preferences. The main duties of this role include determining the overall product vision of the data analytics platform, managing various backlog items, prioritizing which features will be delivered and managing the delivery team.
Responsibilities for Product Owner
• Supervise and advise the scrum team to meet software expectations
• Manage the product delivery team to create a strong, market-driven platform
• Nurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problems
• Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
• Extract and retrieve information and data sets to improve upon software
• Determine roadmap priorities for the platform in the creation phase
• Develop user stories and work closely with the scrum team throughout the development process
• Schedule and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes for the platform

Job Qualification
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, data science and/or data engineering products and platforms
• Minimum 2 years experience as a product owner in the industry
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and process
• In-depth understanding of data analytics industry market conditions and trends
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Creative and innovative thinker
