- This is an on-site position at USA office of one of the “Big Three” automakers in North America. Participating in this project, you will have chance to work with top talented engineers, join growing team dedicated to enhancing existing software related products and creating new and exciting software components that integrate with existing architectures as well as our next generation vehicle systems.
- Be part of an Autosar Software Team responsible for developing software for automotive products. Design and develop Autosar based embedded software components.
- Scale, modify and re-factor existing software components to meet new architecture requirements.
- Work with architecture and validation teams, tool vendors and AUTOSAR basic software partners to create re-usable software components, supporting documentation and integration guides. Perform code level integration related tasks such as replicating build environments, source code debugging and continuously improving and streamlining deployments.
Responsibilities/ Daily tasks you will take care
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Operator angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
- Align components using calipers, rulers, clamp pieces, etc.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Requirements/ Desired skills and experience
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of AUTOSAR experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice to have:
- Signal processing knowledge
- Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
- Experience in software development for automotive control units
- Experience in AUTOSAR Methodology and workflows
- Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR software development/integration projects
- Strong understanding and hands-on with complete AUTOSAR BSW (Communication Services, Memory – Services, System Services and Complex Device Drivers)
- Familiar with RTE configuration activities
- Good hands-on with Vector Davinci Configurator and Davinci Developer
- Good embedded debugging skills
- C programing Skills
- Self-reliant, approachable with good communication skills
- Good knowledge of tools used for embedded program development
- Knowledge of safety-systems, ISO26262, ASIL A-D is a plus
