Game Designer (Game Education)

Job Description

• EDN stands for the phrase Edunext, meaning “new and modern education”, is a subsidiary of FPT Software, developing edtech products for domestic and foreign business.

• Currently, EDN has 3 main products.

• Codelearn.io is an online interactive programming teaching platform with over 250000 registered users.

• Vioedu is a math, English, and classroom management platform deployed to hundreds of primary and high schools nationwide with tens of thousands of users per day.

• Edunext, which has been in development since early September 2020, is an online education platform following the social construction method, with the support and investment of FPT President Truong Gia Binh and owner. President of FPT education organization Le Truong Tung, started to be piloted for more than 2000 students of FPT University from the beginning of May 2021.

• In 2022, EDN continues to develop a new product line of online educational games to attract students basing on NFT, Metaverse. With the slogan of creating a new game in the field of digital education in Vietnam, FPT software are hiring young talents to develop games product.

Job Description 

• Creating innovative games for entertainment or education purposes.

• Conceptualizing and developing characters, rules, settings and stories for new games.

• Pitching new game ideas to executives and clients.

• Managing multiple teams and projects.

• Prototyping new games.

• Following industry trends and good practices.

• Monitoring work and cash flows.

• Developing design and gaming protocols.

• Doing quality control.

Job Qualification

•Bachelor’s degree in game design, computer science or computer engineering. At least 2 year experience in same role

•Enthusiasm and knowledge of the industry.

•Relevant certification in programming languages.

•Portfolio of sample projects.
