Job Description
  • Work with business partners to write and groom user stories and build a product backlog
  • Dive deep into solutions and requirements proposed by the business and provide alternative solutions for the business to consider
  • Assist the Product Owner with running sprints and ensuring regular delivery of working software
  • Be the point of contact for overseas software developers (TH and VN) who have clarifying questions about requirements
  • Work with the development team Scrum Master to identify and remove impediments that come up during the sprint process
  • Find way to optimize our way of working by offering solutions for continuous improvement


1. Analysis and Solution Definition

  • Become a subject matter expert in select IT Products the IT department offers to the business and to consumers
  • Understand and provide input to develop the roadmap of the IT Products
  • Prepare and groom user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams based on discussion and negotiation with the business and Product Owner

2. Quality Assurance and Testing

  • Work with developers to ensure their solution design can satisfy user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure acceptance criteria and any other test conditions are met before concluding a story is complete
  • Document and execute clear testing plans
  • Work with development team to ensure automated testing is baked into solutions
  • Identify and document system deficiencies and recommended solutions

3. Project Support & Change Management

  • Follow-up with and push relevant parties to ensure that work is completed on agreed-upon schedule
  • Track deliverables and raise concerns when timelines are at risk, while offering solutions to resolve the problem
  • Ensure proper communication is conducted when system changes are made by keeping relevant stakeholders informed

4. Other Duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related fields
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Application Support
  • Understands database relationships and has basic knowledge in writing SQL queries
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Ability to hands-on manage and triage multiple parallel priorities
  • Ability to effectively and proactively interact and communicate with senior management, internal departments, clients, and vendors
  • Fast learner with good negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal and written (Thai and English) communication skills
  • General insurance industry background and knowledge is preferable but not required
