Job Brief

The FPT Design team are highly skilled and passionate designers, working on projects that have tremendous impact and purpose in the world around us. We’re searching for a talented Lead UX that can take on some of our most demanding and rewarding design engagements for top global clients.

Such a person confidently runs design teams to produce beautiful products that are precisely executed and born through genuine application of UCD principles and UX process. They stand out by their energy, fostering of great team culture, their desire for lasting client relations and commitment to quality excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design project leadership and accountability

• Ownership of timelines, team efficiency and quality of deliverables

• Hands-on involvement across full UX design process

• Translate business and user needs into relevant design solutions

• Conduct well organized internal and customer workshops

• Support sales and bidding process, proposal preparation

• Present and influence executive-level audiences

• Directly manage customer expectations and relationships

• Mentoring and coaching of design team

Requirements

• 5+ years UX experience

• Have lead at least 2-3 large scale design projects with experience in ground-up designs

• Successful track record of leading design teams from project start to finish

• In-depth knowledge and application of UX

• Advanced knowledge of mobile web, mobile app, desktop and responsive design

• Portfolio with clear evidence of in-depth knowledge and application of UX process, supported by artifacts and narrative recount of project details

• Fluent in popular design tools like Sketch, Figma, Axure, Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Optimal Workshop

• Good conversational level verbal and written command of English language

• Experience in Agile environments
