Job Location: Viet Nam, Japan
Position: Mainframe / AS400 Migration professionals
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience delivering and implementing Mainframe / AS400 migration project / Strategy even partly
• Experience with Mainframe technologies (e.g., IMS, CICS, DB2, Cobol, VSAM, JCL), IBM Mainframe and/or AS400 architecture and infrastructure requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud deployments and cloud migration deployments.
• Experience in infrastructure modernization
• Experience working in cloud migration including infrastructure and application modernization
• Ability to collaborate with other cloud experts and other professionals.
• Outstanding spoken, written, and formal presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience Agile / Scrum
• Excellent of English / Japanese communication.
Background:
• FPT will help customer migrate from legacy applications (Mainframe and AS400) to modern cloud native microservices. In Japan still many Mainframes and AS400 exist and sometimes customers are in painful situation, since customers cannot manage Mainframe and AS400.
Business details:
• Lead / Evaluate FPT business partners
• Lead / Provide the Mainframe / AS400 migration consulting.
• Assess Technical current environment including as-is infrastructure and application architecture with customers and FPT people and FPT business partners.
• Define to-be environment with customers and FPT people / FPT business partners.
• Define the migration timeline with customers and FPT people / FPT business partners.
• Execute PoC with customers, and FPT people / FPT business partners.
• Support the migration with customers, and FPT people / FPT business partners.
• Support FPT migration standard methodologies with FPT people / FPT business partners.
