Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end delivery of projects and services for clients in Japan and Korea.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients in JP/KR, ensuring effective communication and alignment of expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Conduct regular status meetings, provide updates, and address client feedback promptly.
• Leverage knowledge of Japan/Korea culture, business practices, and languages to facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and guidelines specific to the JP/KR regions.
• Customize solutions and delivery approaches to align with regional market trends and customer requirements.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Job Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in project management, delivery management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar project management software.
• Familiarity with IT systems, software development, or cloud technologies is an advantage.
• Deep knowledge of the business environment and customer expectations in Japan/Korea.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Experience in managing multi-regional teams and working in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Japanese, and/or Korean (depending on the region).
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in Japan/Korea or APAC regions.
• Prior experience in industries like IT, automotive, telecommunications, or consulting is preferred.
