Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented and experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in diagnostic stack development for automotive embedded systems. The successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle and work with international teams and OEMs on modern automotive ECUs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain diagnostic-related software components for automotive ECUs, including:
  • UDS on CAN, OBD, and OBD on UDS
  • Participate in all phases of the automotive software development lifecycle, including:
  • Requirements analysis
  • High-level and low-level design
  • Implementation in Embedded C/C++
  • Unit Testing (UT), Integration Testing (IT), and Qualification Testing (QT)
  • Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Diagnostic modules (DCM, DEM, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other domain teams (Platform, Application, Integration) for seamless system integration
  • Debug and resolve issues using industry-standard tools and hardware
  • Ensure software quality, timely delivery, and compliance with automotive standards

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Solid programming skills in Embedded C/C++
  • In-depth knowledge of diagnostic protocols and stacks:
    • UDS (ISO 14229)
    • OBD-II (ISO 15031, SAE J1979)
    • OBD on UDS
  • Experience working with AUTOSAR diagnostic modules (DCM, DEM, NvM, etc.)
  • Experience with the complete software development lifecycle for automotive embedded systems
  • Familiarity with automotive microcontrollers such as Renesas, NXP, etc.
  • Preferred / Plus Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with tools used for configuration and testing:
    • Vector DaVinci Developer / Configurator
    • EB tresos Studio
    • Vector CANoe, CANalyzer
    • vFlash, or other flashing tools
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and software integration
  • Experience working in ASPICE-compliant development environments
