Senior Microsoft SQL

Job Description

• We are looking for a Sr. MS SQL with experience in creating, updating and tuning SQL queries & procedures of a centralized MS SQL Server which is being used by backend services of several applications to have a high-performing and easy-maintain SQL procedures.
• You will be part of a talented software team that works on to build a Logistics platform for Singaporean customer.
• Involved into updating procedures, functions, triggers, and packages based on the change request. Create database schema and number of database objects like tables, views, stored procedures, user defined functions using SQL Server management studio.
• Troubleshooting SQL Server including performance issue.
• Database performance evaluation using Utility Control Point (UCP), Performance Monitor and Dynamic Management Views
• Maintaining and upgrading high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Contribute in all phases of the development life-cycle

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Good at English written and spoken.
• At least 4 years’ experience in MS SQL
• Experience in optimizing the queries by creating various clustered, non-clustered indexes and indexed views.
• Strong experience in database installation, capacity planning, implementing backup and recovery strategy for applications and database.
• Highly self-motivated and excellent time management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, MS SQL technology.
• Experience in .NET will be a great advantage.
