Job Description
• Possesses extensive technical expertise on product, architecture, codebase, and problem domain.
• Research and diagnose complex technical problems, finds root cause, provide recommendations, and drive resolution.
• Operate as a Subject Matter Expert in key areas on Crestron Home.
• Work checked through consultation and agreement with others rather than by formal review of a superior.
• Develops technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Erroneous decisions or recommendations can result in failure to achieve critical project objectives.
• Enforces adherence to Crestron’s development and project management processes.
• Continually looks for and recommends ways of improving development processes to optimize for delivery timelines and producing higher quality products.
Job Qualification
• A minimum degree of a Bachelor of Engineering or Science is required.
• A minimum of 15 years of commercial software development experience is required.
• Superior written communication skills to develop strategies, policies, standards, templates and related technical materials.
• 2+ years’ experience leading teams using Scrum or other Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
• A minimum of 8 years of C# .NET programming experience is required.
• Experience with multithreading programming is required.
• Strong understanding of separation of concern and object-oriented principles is required.
• Experience with Garbage Collection is desirable.
