Job Description
• Develops and maintains web applications for US Television Customer
• Develops and maintains Android/React Native applications
• Work with project members, responsible for the design/code review, development, and implementation & testing of software applications in a Windows environment.
• Implement task lists, and estimate delivery assignments as functional specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Consistently delivers high-quality services and meets customer requirements.
• Other assignments from the Project Manager.
Job qualifications
Must have:
• Willingness to learn new programming languages and frameworks.
• Passion for code quality and improvement.
• Must be able to work independently and produce elegant, easily maintainable code.
• 3+ years experience working on React-native
• Experience building and maintaining applications for both iOS and Android platforms
• Experienced with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience in writing good unit tests.
• A commitment to quality and a through approach to work.
• Good teamwork and reliability.
• Able to discuss tradeoffs/approaches/etc. and drive architectural decisions with the client
• Able to translate client’s requirements to appropriate tasks for offshore team. Ensure that the work stays on track. Serves as an escalation point with Clients
• Ability to be hands-on technically if needed (but not 100%). The ability to think out of the box (play “solution architect”) is important
• Good verbal and written English communication with the customer
Nice to have:
• Experience AWS / Kubernetes clusters are a plus
• Scrum / Agile Development Experience is a plus.
• Experience in Media Entertainment (Television) domain.
• Experience in shipping web applications to production, CI/CD flow (Jenkins)
• Experience with code review and code refactoring is a plus.
• Familiar with source control management: Git.
• Positive mind (enjoy working with a colleague).
• Good communication in English is a plus.
