FPT Korea is looking for Senior Software Engineer/Bridge Software Engineer for MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Implementation and Roll-out projects. You will work as both senior engineer and onsite (customer site) project leader/ coordinator, who must be able to manage a large group of diverse personnel in a professional manner. It involves software development, engagement in deployment activities working with the Vietnam offshore team and relationship management. Ideal candidate has the proven track record of delivering large scale, high complexity technical projects within stipulated timelines with a strong communication skills and planning mindset. Requirements is as below:

Job Description

Working site: FPT office and customer site in Seoul, Korea

Working duty

• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
• Communicate directly with customer to discuss and negotiate about development plan, design, technical issues.
• Work closely with business divisions, application teams, infrastructure areas and vendors to identity, review and evaluate the solution requirements.
• Transfer customer requirements to development team in Vietnam
• Support development team in Vietnam to discuss with customer about project issues
• Support development team in Vietnam handle technical issues.
• Review products (document, source code) of team before release to customer
• Design, develop, implement, troubleshoot, test and document MES solutions that meet client’s requirements in an office environment.
• A minimum of 25% travel is expected with this position. Travel will be mostly domestic, but some international travel may be required.

Skill requirement

• 5+ years of experience on C# .net core/.net MVC
• Have a knowledge about factory automation, industry protocol (Modbus, OPC, S3/S5/S7, MQTT…)
• 3+ years of experience on message broker (RabbitMQ/ Kafka…)
• 5+ years of experience on data modelling, functional operating, system architectural design in MES and other operation management system.
• Have a good knowledge about data-driven system with multiple sub-system, multiple component cooperates via multiple protocol (gRPC, REST, SOAP…)
• Experience in project management, familiar with project management tools (e.g. Jira)
• Foreign language skill: fluent in English and Korean communication (TOEIC: 750, TOPIK 4)
• Experience in delivering high-volume, high-availability, multi-site, internet facing applications.
• Strong planning capabilities, organizational skills, leadership ability, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively communicate in English and take a leadership role over the group for which they coordinate
• Able to effectively communicate complex information to both management and other employees, anticipating questions and focusing on key elements. Handles sensitive issues and exhibits exemplary customer service to internal and external customers

Others

• Graduated in Korean universities or foreign universities is a plus
• Management skill is a plus (PMP, PSM certificate)
• Experience with GMP manufacturing process, supporting business, quality and/or facilities systems is a plus
• Experience with Korea MES/DCS/PCS is a plus
