Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SME Telco to provide expert guidance and support on telecommunications solutions for our clients. This role will be crucial in pre-sales, solution design, project delivery, and ongoing support, ensuring our outsourced IT services meet the specific needs and challenges of our telecommunications clients. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of telecom technologies, industry best practices, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Responsibilities
Pre-sales Support:
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and identify opportunities for IT outsourcing within the telecommunications sector.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and proposals showcasing our expertise and solutions.
- Conduct technical due diligence and assessments of potential clients’ infrastructure and needs.
- Contribute to pricing and scoping of projects.
Solution Design:
- Design and architect IT solutions that align with client business objectives and technical requirements.
- Provide technical leadership in the development of proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest telecommunications technologies and trends.
Project Delivery:
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during implementation and deployment.
- Act as a point of escalation for technical issues.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Contribute to the development of project documentation.
Ongoing Support:
- Provide expert support to clients on telecommunications-related issues.
- Develop and deliver training to internal teams on relevant technologies and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and FAQs.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the telecommunications space.
- Provide insights and recommendations to inform our service offerings and go-to-market strategy.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Must-Have:
- Relevant degree in a technical field or equivalent experience (telecom or IT) for Telecommunication Service Provider (e.g. Viettel, VNPT, Mobifone) or Telecommunication Solution Provider (e.g. Amdocs, Ericsons, Nokia…)
- 5 years of experience in a similar role (SA, Technical Lead) within the telecommunications industry or similar enterprise domain.
- Expertise in at least one of following areas: Data/Cloud/OSS/BSS/Networking:
+ General cloud: experience with cloud essential services, cloud providers, cloud high level architect+ Telco cloud: VNFs – virtual network functions, NFVI – network functions virtualization infrastructure, VoIP/PSTN, VoLTE, Mediation Layer, PBX, SIP, CSP (Customer Service Point) -> DSP (Digital Service Point), hybrid cloud hosting, B2B Omnichannel Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), Connected Customer Journey Platform, AWS Telco Network Builder (AWS TNB), Azure Mobile Edge Computing (MEC),
+ OSS/BSS (Billing, Account, .v.v.)
+ Networking (5G, etc)
+ Core Telecom System
Should-Have:
- Industry certifications (for anything related to the 3th point above).
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in telecommunications.
- Prefer to have excellent communication skills in English (translator available)
- Collaborative mindset and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to innovate and stay updated with industry trends.
- Problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues.
- Ability to do the proposal for bidding
