Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties
- In charge of Change Request / Service Request – new development(s) / project(s) for the existing application(s) that will be assigned to.
- Involve in maintenance / development of Siebel applications.
- Involve in SDLC process flow which include programming work, management task, requirement gathering, participate in system and design flow, system testing (e.g SIT, UAT and FT), build, release management and deployment of system.
- Lead group sessions to gather business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
- Translate technical issues into business terminology for communication to business users.
- Perform analysis and design activities (e.g., produce functional design, create test books, and perform feasibility for a project)
- Conducting gap analysis between business requirements and software
- Guiding and coaching team with design, build, test, and deploy activities
- Preparation and continuous update of all required documents
- Participation on testing and acceptance process
- Proposals / recommendations of new enhancement which requires great understanding of the business processes
- Involve in standard documentation(s) as per described by company, client(s) or industrial standard(s).
- Provide on-going support to business users for the area you will be assigned to.
- Help gather & analyze business user requirements.Responsible for developing & implementing solutions for the area you will be assigned to.
- Support solution design by providing insights on capabilities and best practices of your area.
- Work closely with internal teams to implement end-to-end solutions.
- Handle end-to-end project coordination and work with the project management & QA team to ensure successful delivery of the solution.
- Provide operational support including upgrades, defect fixes and process change activities.
Requirements
- Have experience in Siebel from Telco Industry
- Have experience with Siebel 7.x / 8.x eBusiness suite
- Experience in Siebel product streams such as Call Centre, Sales, Service, Sales Order Capture, Marketing, Analytics etc.
- Must have thorough knowledge and experience in: Siebel Order Management, Asset Based Ordering, Siebel Product Configuration, Siebel Customer Account Management, Siebel Fulfilment/Activities Management, Siebel Trouble Ticket Management
- Must have hands-on experience using standard Siebel: Applications, Siebel Tools, Siebel Configurations (Data Layer and UI Layer), Siebel Workflows, Siebel Enterprise Integration Application (XMLs, Inbound and Outbound Webservices, Dispatch, Service, Integration Data Maps, XSLT, EAI Data Transformations, Scripting), Siebel Architecture and deployment
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
