JOB OVERVIEW
• We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to spearhead our data engineering initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in database design, business workflow optimization, and modern data frameworks. The ideal candidate will bridge technical excellence with business acumen to drive data-driven solutions across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITES
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable database architectures
• Architect and optimize business workflows for maximum efficiency
• Design and implement data-driven workflow solutions
• Oversee data pipeline development using modern frameworks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers and developers
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all systems
• Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering and architecture
• Lead technical decision-making for data platform strategy
• Manage cross-functional projects involving data integration and analytics

REQUIREMENTS
Core Competencies
• Database Design and Architecture (SQL/NoSQL)
• Business Workflow Design and Process Optimization
• Data-Driven Workflow Design and Implementation
• ETL/ELT Pipeline Development
• Data Modeling and Schema Design

Data Frameworks (Minimum 1 or 2 Frameworks)
• Apache Spark – Distributed data processing
• Hadoop Ecosystem – Big data storage and processing
• Apache Flink – Stream processing and real-time analytics
• Databricks – Unified analytics platform
• Azure Data Factory – Cloud-based data integration
• AWS Glue – Serverless data integration service
• Snowflake – Cloud data warehouse platform

Additional Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• 3+ years in technical leadership positions
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in relevant field
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and MLOps
• Certification in cloud platforms or data technologies
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Background in financial services, healthcare, or e-commerce domains
• Experience with real-time streaming architectures
