FPT awards VND 1 billion to Da Nang to combat epidemic

As part of a series of activities for the community, FPT continues to donate VND 1 billion to Da Nang city, supporting the prevention and control of Covid-19 in the locality. FPT presents gifts and medical equipment to the medical team.

On the afternoon of April 6, at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, FPT donated VND 1 billion to support Da Nang city in the fight against Covid-19. This is an activity in the Group’s program to support VND 20 billion to help respond to the global outbreak.

At the meeting, Mr. Pham Tung Lam (Deputy General Director of FPT Investment Company Limited), representative of the Group, expressed that combating Covid-19 is an urgent task of the whole society. Therefore, FPT wants to join hands and contribute to Da Nang City so that people can return to their normal lives soon.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Dang Thi Kim Lien thanked FPT and affirmed that it would quickly transfer the entire amount of money to support the frontline units.

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Chairman also believes that this is a great encouragement from FPT in the battle against the epidemic. With the spirit of solidarity, accompanying authorities in the fight against Covid 19, FPT, agencies, units, people … believe that Covid-19 pandemic will be contained and the country’s socio-economy will soon go back to normal.

As of April 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city has received over VND 4.6 billion from units, agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals.
